Reviewing manually hundreds of transactions to enter many corrections is not very practical. The supervisors are equally unable and offer two unreasonable solutions: Make a manual adjustment to reconcile online balance (correct) with Quicken incorrect/imaginary balance, or, Go back line by line and verify where Quicken didn't do it correctly. Regular support agents would waste few hours of the user's time without finding a solution. Soon the transactions download becomes a major issue. Support is based in Guatemala - good and clear English but quite lost in resolving Quicken new problems of transfer to 2018 Quicken. Only 3 months banking and credit cards data is available. Should one be so naive to trust Quicken in preparing the IRS return data, the surprise is unpleasant. Furthermore, as problem occur - transactions are not downloaded, accounts (mostly with Citibank) are not recognized, the only offered solution is starting with such accounts from scratch - but only 3 months back from the day. To make certain that Quicken takes unfairly control over the past data, the older version is uninstalled and old data becomes unusable in the new version. But the above are illusions and reality check shows the followings: Old files from previous versions are practically butchered.
